We've
listened to the feedback from TBMR&ACF II. Our fairs now have an open
mic session for conscious (and that means NO four-letter words!)
artists and poets, plus organisations with something to say to the community.
Includes DJing, story-telling by Frances Somers Cocks ('Abraham
Hannibal And The Raiders Of The Sands'), Rob Swift and Snakeyman
of The Good Samaritan Music Project, Coco Mbassi plus more acts to be added!
The
Black Music Records & African Crafts Fair VII takes place on Saturday
March 18 2006, 12.30-5.30pm at: Tavistock Hall, 25 High Street, next to
the KFC, Harlesden, London NW10.(Willesden Junction BR/tube
station. Jubilee Clock stop: Buses 18, 187, 206, 220, 226, 260, 266,

have some fun
* Get a stall to sell, or provide
literature or information
* Catch a recital or a
showcase of an up & coming act or word from a community organisation
* Don't
forget to bring some money to buy, not just browse
(leave that for the internet!)

cost £20 per table 2 X 5 ft, a chair, plus ample space. Limited stalls
available. Booking must

This
is meant to be your market. So come prepared to buy and support the
community. Or you can decide to get a stall to sell off whatever it is you
want to get rid of! Have you checked the attic or garage for some
valuable stuff you could knock off?

Press:
Poets, small acoustic
combos, and MC’s required to perform a cappella, or to guitar or backing
track. Lyrics must be conscious and non-Parental Advisory! Individuals
or organisations with something to say can have the microphone.
Admission
is £FREE.
PARKING:
There's a metered car park behind Tavistock Hall by the Budgen's and
Burger King. The cost is very modest on weekends, so don't forget to feed
the meter, as the warden' can't wait to clamp unpaid cars!
