The Mixed Bag Show/businessofmusic goes out Wednesdays 2-4pm GMT. The format follows BBM/BMC founder Kwaku's professional interests - a) the music policy covers any form of black music, from African, gospel, reggae, hip-hop, R&B, jazz, blues, grime/UKG, funk, to rock; old, new, or pre-release; plus there's usually a bias towards British music, and b) the talks element covers music industry information and discussion, highlights from the trades, plus community discussions with BTWSC co-ordinator Ms Serwah usually adding her impassioned socio-political views, and as a barrister, the odd legal views.

We have no playlist - we play what we fancy, and though it can sometimes seem haphazard, there is usually a thread or link, which we often elucidate upon. You're welcome to send your promos or releases, provided they do NOT attract Parental Advisory warning. The station has a no-swearing policy.
