The 'Soul Classics' Competition

CLOSED

We've also got three copies of Uncut's DVD 'Soul Classics'. You are bound to know the "12 pieces of solid gold soul" here. We're talking Cameo's cod-piece funkster 'Word Up', Commodores radio-seducing ballad 'Sail On', Womack & Womack's 'Teardrops', plus a number of UK made contributions. Like Young Disciples' 'Apparently Nothing', Level 42's massive crossover 'Lessons In Love', Stereo MCs' Connected', and the UK/US collabo of Mica Paris and Will Downing's 'Where Is The Love'. Great tracks, but I couldn't help noticing how oooooold school the videos and clothes were. Better to listen, than watch more than once!

If you fancy a copy, you've got up to midnight Monday March 22  2004 to enter this simple question:  Lionel Richie has been making some noise lately, as he re-launches his solo career. What popular '70s/'60s group was he a member of?  Click to email answer: editor@britishblackmusic.com
